Installation and scheduling

Do you install outside business hours?

Short answer

Yes. Night, early morning and weekend work is normal for us, because most commercial spaces cannot close for an installation. Retail décor, office branding and elevator cab work are routinely done after hours so the space is trading or occupied the next morning.

For most of our commercial clients, after-hours work is not a premium option, it is the only workable option. A store cannot stop selling, a lobby cannot be closed, and a floor of staff cannot be relocated for two days.

We plan around that. Décor and graphics installs in retail are commonly done overnight between closing and opening. Office branding is scheduled for evenings or weekends. Elevator cab refinishing takes the car out of service, so it is done overnight and returned to service before the morning peak. Exterior film work is scheduled around weather and access equipment availability rather than trading hours.

Working after hours does require a few things from the site: confirmed access and keys or a security escort, arrangements with building security or the landlord, alarm handling, and a named contact reachable during the shift. Getting those in place is part of the survey, not something to sort out at 9 pm.

We will always tell you honestly when after-hours work costs more or takes longer than daytime work on a given scope, so you can decide whether the operational benefit is worth it.

What we need arranged for after-hours work

  • Confirmed access method: keys, fob, or security escort
  • Landlord or building management approval where required
  • Alarm codes or a monitoring company notification
  • A reachable site contact during the shift
  • Loading dock or parking access at the working hours
  • Agreement on who inspects and signs off, and when

Tell us the operational constraint and we will build the schedule around it. That is what a commercial installer is for.
